In five short years, tech titan turned film producer Todd Wagner, hockey player Mike Modano, stockbroker Charlie McKinney and SMU's Cotton Bowl-winning quarterback Lance McIlhenny have raised $1 million for inner-city kids with their Reebok Heroes Baseball Game. Coming up on June 24, the annual celebrity-filled game has helped build the Little Heroes Baseball Field in Pike Park near American Airlines Center. Whoopi Goldberg and Finesse Mitchell will headline the Draft Dinner on June 23 at Gilley's. The actual game and Home Run Derby will be the next day at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. This Thursday, sponsors and organizers of the event are gathering for a "pre-game warm-up" (they'll be doing the famous 12-ounce curls and the equally rigorous stein hoist) at the club Fuse.
