Reebok 2009 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game at Dr Pepper Ballpark - 2009-06-02
Mike Modano, Michael Irvin, Mark Cuban, DeMarcus Ware, Marty Turco and Brenden Morrow are among the Dallas sports luminaries scheduled to participate in the Reebok 2009 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game on Saturday, June 13, at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.
Modano, Turco and Morrow (Stars), Irvin and Ware (Cowboys) and Cuban (Mavericks owner) are expected to be joined by many other stars, including current Cowboys Jason Witten, Jay Ratliff, Bradie James and Martellus Bennett, Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL receiver Tim Brown, dancing former NFL defensive star Warren Sapp, NBA great Scottie Pippen, singer/TV personality Joey Fatone and famed wrestler Blue Demon Jr.
Festivities include the Baylor Medical Center at Frisco Celebrity Home Run Derby at 4 p.m. and the Celebrity Game at 6 p.m. There's a fabulous fireworks display after the ballgame, too! Major league Hall of Famer Wade Boggs will return as a manager this year, and former major league All-Star slugger Matt Williams will be the other manager.
